Silver Cutlery Set with Canteen - Magdelana
Brand new from Osborne is silver cutlery set Magdelana, a contemporary interpretation of a classic period design, complete with canteen. Developed to celebrate the company’s 300th anniversary, the latest pattern merges the lines of today’s modern designs with art deco influences from the 1930’s, creating a look that is both timeless and elegant.
Now an amalgamation of seven traditional Sheffield cutlery names, Osborne's roots stretch back to when Joshua Osborne first registered as a silversmith in 1709. The company is also the guardian of a priceless collection of more than 200 cutlery designs, some dating back to the classic ‘parish patterns’ that originated in Sheffield more than 400 years ago, to which Magdelana is the latest, stylish addition.
Combining the heritage, quality and superb finish of Sheffield-made cutlery, Magdelana is available in a range of canteen sets from 44 pieces, with six 7-piece place settings and two serving spoons, to 158 pieces, catering for 12 people with a host of additional accessories and serving pieces. There is also a choice of five different knife blades, for personalising the silver cutlery collection, and presentation canteens in several different wood finishes.
Offered in a choice of affordable silver plate or hallmarked 925 sterling silver, a typical 44-piece Magdelana cutlery set in EPNS (electro-plated nickel silver) retails at around £1199, including custom-made cutlery cabinet and an outstanding 40 year guarantee. This new pattern is available now from Harrods or directly from Osborne.
