Bistro Ceramic Sink, an alternative to Butlers
Having suffered a single sink for the last four years, I can't tell you how jealous I am at the sight of the new 1.5 ceramic sink from Brass and Traditional Sinks.
Double and 1.5 bowl sinks are frequently replacing the more traditional Butler or Belfast sinks, and the Bistro with its subtle curves and will look great with any work surface. The tap ledge of the sink is pre-drilled for a monobloc tap.
Brass and Traditonal say 1.5 sinks have made a come back because you're lazy (OK they didn't actually say that) and want to hide your washing up in the sink (they did say that), but I know that's not true.
If like me you have a dishwasher, then that's not the case. I just hate empting the teapot, or pouring away any liquid, with the washing-up bowl in the sink - the whole thing just ends up a mess. At least with the one and a half a sink, you've somewhere seperate to pour away liquid and its a smaller and much easier space to clean.
