Highlights in the up and coming Antique and Modern jewellery auction in Birmingham next week include two rather distinct pieces of Victorian Jewellery.
Lot 24 is a late Victorian gold and silver mounted ornate diamond pendant with a guide price of £1500 to £2000, is in relatively good condition considering its age. An expert from Fellows & Sons auctioneers describes the jewellery as a circular design with an old European cut diamond, set in a central claw.
The second item, lot 265 pictured above, is a diamond and cultured pearl sunray design brooch, with a guide price of £780 to £1000. This has a central round cultured pearl bordered by eleven cut diamonds, leading to fifteen diamond set rays. The total diamond weight is estimated to be 3 carats.
There are another fifty-six Victorian jewellery items in the sale, plus hundreds of other pieces at the Birmingham auction. For more information visit www.fellows.co.uk
