What's new in Period Home and Garden

In just a few weeks it will be time to start sweeping up Autumn leaves again (I can't believe this year has gone so fast). Adding them to the compost bin isn't really an option if have lots as they tend to take much longer to rot down, but having a separate compost bin isn't always an option either.
Nether Wallop Trading has a loose weave jute sack that can hold thousands of fallen leaves. The sacks called, Love 'em and leave 'em, are totally biodegradable so all you need do is fill them up and then leave them in a corner to turn into rich compost.
The bags cost £2 each or 3 for £5, but post and packing is £3.50. If you don't want to buy anything else from the site my suggestion is to ask a neighbour if they'd like to buy some too and share the postage costs. After all, the chances are if you end up with loads of leaves each year, so do they.
