Gardening site makes planting easy
Maintaining a large garden takes planning

It doesn't seem to matter how many gardening books you have, there never seems to be an easy way to coordinate all of the information relevant to your garden into one place, that is of course unless you use Shoot.

Shoot is the brain child of Nicola Gammon, who set it up for gardeners like her that enjoy a beautiful garden, but don't really want to spend time researching plants and keeping notes on care. All Nicola wanted was for someone to tell her what needed to be done.

A subscription to Shoot gives you access to wealth of plant information. You can create as many gardens as you like, allowing you to separate the front, from the back or the allotment. Once you have finished this step all you need do is build up you plant lists from the database and Shoot will send you care tips every month by email.

In addition, the site provides advice on pests and diseases, and helps you to make sure you choose the right plant for your garden, helping to avoid costly and wasteful mistakes. Shoot's information doesn't just cover ornamentals, but fruit, vegetables and even weeds.

A year's subscription costs £19.99. For more information visit www.shootgardening.co.uk.
