Victorian Bathrooms Cover Different Designs

People often forget that bathrooms during Victorian era, which stretched over several decades, actually covered many different styles. You only have to think back to the 70's bathrooms with their avocado suites to realise how much probably changed during the sixty plus years of Queen Victoria's reign.

By the 1880s the style of bath tubs had changed from being closed-in by dark mahogany paneling, to a much lighter look of bath tubs standing on claw feet. The Empire Suite (pictured above) from Victorian Bathrooms, captures the mood perfectly.

A cast iron roll top bath and high-level cistern and pan provides the distinct look, whilst the wash basin on its ornate stand makes completes the Victorian style.

The Empire bathroom suite costs £1794.00. For more information visit www.victorianbathrooms.com
