Sisal stair runners from Kersaint Cobb with Moroccan theme
If your stairs form part of your main entrance hall then these new stair runners from Kersaint Cobb will help create a stylish impact as you walk through the door. Made from 100% sisal, with a latex back, the runners are woven in boucle design with a small rib that runs across the weave.
The collection features three traditionally styled runners and two multi-striped runners and with evocative names like Tangier, Marrakech and Casablanca that conger up thoughts of hot dusty sands mixed with colourful souks, they're guaranteed to brighten any dark stairwell.
The sisal stair runners have a latex back, which prevents dust and debris falling through and ensures easy maintenance with a suction type vacuum cleaner. Like all natural floorcoverings, they just need regular hoovering to keep clean and unlike synthetic fabrics that cling to dirt because of the build up of static electricity, sisal allows dust particles to be easily lifted - good news for allergy sufferers.
The Kersaint Cobb Moroccan stair runner collection comes in 69cm widths and can be fitted either as a standard carpet or attached using stair rods. Available from independent carpet and floor covering retailers throughout the UK. Prices start from around £45 - £49 lin m. excluding underlay and fitting.
